About
I am an oil painter. I move slowly with the medium, letting layers build over time, much like the days themselves.
I am also a wife and a mother. These roles carry both weight and tenderness, and they have quietly reshaped how I see the world. Life right now is full. Sometimes it is loud, sometimes gentle, often beautiful in ways that don’t ask for attention. Painting has become my way of noticing what might otherwise slip by.
I consider myself a creative wanderer. I’ve produced work in many forms and followed ideas wherever they led, learning that creativity rarely moves in a straight line. At this moment, painting is where everything comes together.
Seeking soft moments
I am currently based in Washington, though my heart often drifts toward the beach. I’m drawn to the rhythm of water and the openness of light. That longing finds its way into my work as a search for calm, space, and quiet places to rest the eyes.
I am on an ongoing journey of finding myself as an artist while honoring the season of life I’m in. Motherhood has changed my relationship with time and attention. It has taught me to look for peace in small fragments and to recognize it in a quiet room, a familiar landscape, or light moving across a wall.
My paintings are an attempt to hold those moments. I’m drawn to landscapes and interiors, to spaces that feel lived in or gently observed. I’m less interested in spectacle and more interested in feeling. The hush of a space. The stillness that lingers.
This work is not about answers.
It’s about paying attention.
Thank you for being here and for taking a moment to slow down with me.
